Tim Spence is the President of Fifth Third Bank. He first joined the company in 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Fifth Third Bank specializes in small business, retail banking, investments, and mortgages. They are one of the largest consumer banks in the Midwestern United States and operate in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Previously, Spence was a Partner at Oliver Wyman. For many years he worked in finance and strategy with start-up AdTech companies in the growth stage. Spence earned an undergraduate degree from Colgate University.

 

2. Brian Carlin
J.P. Morgan

Brian Carlin is the Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Morgan Private Capital. J.P. Morgan is a leader in financial services, offering solutions to clients in more than 100 countries with one of the most comprehensive global product platforms available. Carlin has 24 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1997.

Prior to his current role, Carlin was a CEO at J.P. Morgan Wealth Management Solutions and before that a CFO at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Earlier in his career he worked with Citibank as an Investment Consultant. Carlin graduated from Georgetown University with an MBA in Finance and from American University with an undergraduate degree in International Business.

 

3. Hikmet Ersek
Western Union

Hikmet Ersek is the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Western Union. Western Union provides consumers and businesses with fast, reliable and convenient ways to send and receive money around the world. Ersek has 25 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1996.

Before joining Western Union, Ersek was a National Executive at GE Capital. Ersek graduated from Vienna University of Economics and Business with a graduate degree.

 

4. Dan Rollins
BancorpSouth

Dan Rollins began his professional career 43 years ago. Today, he is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of BancorpSouth. BancorpSouth engages in conducting general commercial banking, trust, and insurance businesses through offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, and Illinois.

In 1973 Rollins served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Southwest U.S., his most recent position prior to joining BancorpSouth. Rollins graduated from the University of Texas with an undergraduate degree in Finance.

 

5. Don Berman
CardWorks

Don Berman is the Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of CardWorks. Cardworks is one of the largest privately held providers of end-to-end operational servicing and support functions for credit card and installment loan products in North America. Berman has over 34 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1987.

Berman graduated from the University of Maryland with an undergraduate degree in American Studies and Business & Marketing.

 

6. Kim Luu-Tu
Generations Wealth Management

Kim Luu-Tu is a Private Wealth Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of Generations Wealth Management, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. The diverse team of advisors at Generations Wealth Management focuses on comprehensive advice, where Luu-Tu leads and works alongside her team to develop solutions for clients' needs and goals. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to retirement income and planning strategies, investments and insurance planning.

Sirage Malani is the Chief Executive Officer of Transamerica. He first joined the company in 1999. Transamerica is committed to helping people make the wealth and health connection. They have been helping people feel better about the future for more than 100 years by providing investment, retirement, and life insurance solutions to more than 11 million customers throughout the U.S.

Malani earned an MBA from the University of Washington.

 

8. Christine Hurtsellers
Voya Investment Management

Christine Hurtsellers is the Chief Executive Officer of Voya Investment Management. She first joined the company in 2004 as Chief Investment Officer. Voya operates as an investment management firm. They offer financial advisory and portfolio management services to high net worth individuals, pension and profit-sharing plans, charitable institutions, foundations, endowments, and municipalities.

Previously, Hurtsellers was a Portfolio Manager at Freddie Mac and before that a Portfolio Manager at AllianceBernstein. Earlier in her career she worked with Bank One as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Hurtsellers earned an undergraduate degree in Finance from Indiana University-Bloomington.

 

9. Jerome Bourbon
Wells Fargo

Jerome Bourbon is the Senior Vice President and Technology Executive Wealth and Investment Management Platform Leader of Wells Fargo. He first joined the company in 2010 as a Divisional Information Officer. Wells Fargo is a diversified, community-based financial services company with $1.9 trillion in assets.

Previously, Bourbon was a Senior Vice President at Enterprise Bank and Trust and before that a Senior Vice President at Bank of America. Earlier in his career he worked with Worldwide Insurance Company as a Programmer Analyst. Bourbon earned an undergraduate degree in Information Technology from Maryville University of Saint Louis.

 

10. Marty Flanagan
Invesco Ltd.

Marty Flanagan began his professional career 35 years ago. Today, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Ltd. Invesco is an independent global investment management firm dedicated to delivering an investment experience that helps people get more out of life.

In 1986 Flanagan served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of directors at Templeton, Galbraith & Hansberger, Ltd. He eventually rose to Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Franklin Resources, Inc., his most recent position prior to joining Invesco. Flanagan graduated from Southern Methodist University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

11. Bjorn Sperber
Irradiant Partners, LP

Bjorn Sperber is the Chief Financial Officer at Irradiant Partners. Irradiant Partners is an alternative investment manager focused on liquid credit, opportunistic credit, and renewable private equity and credit. Irradiant manages over $6 billion in committed capital. Sperber has over 19 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 2002.

Before joining Irradiant Partners, Sperber was a Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Private Funds at CIM Group and before that an Associate Vice President at Trust Company of the West. Earlier in his career he worked with Robinson’s May as a Senior General Ledger and Expense Accountant. Sperber graduated from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business with an MBA in Finance and from the University of California, Los Angeles with an undergraduate degree in Economics.

 

12. John Lamancuso

John Lamancuso is the Chief Executive Officer of PrimePay. PrimePay, founded in 1986, is a payroll service and human capital management provider, offering solutions that empower businesses to focus on what matters most. Lamancuso has 25 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1996.

Before joining PrimePay, Lamancuso was a Senior Operating Executive at Cerberus Capital Management and before that a Chief Revenue Officer at Livingston International. Earlier in his career he worked with ADP as the Southeast Division Vice President of Sales. Lamancuso graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo - School of Management with a graduate degree.

 

13. Rex Ellison

Rex Ellison is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Republic Finance. Republic Finance specializes in providing a variety of consumer loans, flexible lending options and incomparable customer service, and has assisted its customers in meeting their personal finance goals for more than 60 years. Ellison has 39 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1982.

Earlier in his career, Ellision worked with Wells Fargo Financial as a Senior Vice President. Ellison graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Finance Management.

15. Steven Brod

Steven Brod is the Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Capital Partners. He first joined the company in 1999. 16. Heath Campbell

Heath Campbell is the President for the Greater Charlotte Metrolina Region of Truist. He first joined the company in 2019 and leads the Community Bank for the region. Truist, formed when BB&T and SunTrust joined, works to inspire and build better lives and communities. With their combined resources, collective passion, and commitment to innovation, they are creating a better financial experience to help people and businesses achieve more.

Previously, Campbell was a President of the Georgia Region at BB&T. Earlier in his career he worked with Wells Fargo as a Business Banking Specialist. Campbell earned an MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

 

17. Daniel Kane
Tiger Capital Group

Daniel Kane began his professional career 41 years ago. Today, he is the Owner of Tiger Capital Group. Tiger Capital Group provides advisory, restructuring, valuation, disposition and auction services within a broad range of retail, wholesale, and industrial sectors.

Kane first got his start in 1980 as a Certified Public Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP, his most recent position prior to founding Tiger Capital Group. Kane graduated from New York University Stern School of Business with an undergraduate degree in Accounting.

 

18. Jeff Douglas
Wyndham Capital Mortgage

Jeff Douglas began his professional career 25 years ago. Today, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Wyndham Capital Mortgage. Wyndham Capital Mortgage is a mortgage company based in Charlotte, North Carolina, providing residential mortgage loans through a direct-to-consumer, online lending model.

Douglas first got his start in 1996 as a Sales Specialist at Prograde. From there, he went on to First Residential Mortgage, before eventually rising to an Account Executive at LendingTree, his most recent position prior to joining Wyndham. Douglas graduated from Miami University with an undergraduate degree in Business.

 

19. Steve Bisgay

Steve Bisgay is the Executive Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of BGC Partners, Inc. He first joined the company in 2020. BGC Partners is a leading global brokerage company servicing the financial markets.

Previously, Bisgay was a Chief Financial Officer at KCG Holdings and before that an Executive Vice President, COO and CFO at Knight Capital Group. Earlier in his career he worked with PwC as a Senior Manager. Bisgay earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Binghamton University School of Management.

 

20. Jessica Desjardins

Jessica Desjardins began her professional career over 21 years ago. Today, she is the Chief Operating Officer of the Wealth Management Investment Platforms of Morgan Stanley. Morgan Stanley mobilizes capital to help governments, corporations, institutions and individuals around the world achieve their financial goals.

Desjardins first got her start in 2010 as a Strategy & Transformation Consultant at IBM Global Business Services. Desjardins graduated from Barnard College and Columbia University in the City of New York with an undergraduate degree in Economics.

Hunt Worth is the President of Oppenheimer & Co. He first joined the company in 2007 as a Senior Vice President before moving on to Chief Trust Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is a leading national investment boutique with over a century of tradition. They are proud of its reputation as a firm that helps individuals, families, corporate executives, foundations and endowments, charities, pension plans, businesses, and institutions.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer & Co., Worth was the Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor for Wachovia Trust Group and before that was a Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor for PNC Bank. Worth spent time as an Attorney for Hill, Ullman & Erwin LLP early on in his career. Worth graduated from Tufts University with a bachelors degree, from Fordham University with an MBA and from Pace University with a JD.

 

22. David Morrow

David Morrow is the Senior Executive Banking Officer of United Bank. United Bank is a full service community bank offering personal and business accounts, loans, and trust/investment services. Morrow has 29 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1992.

Before joining United Bank, Morrow was a Chief Executive Officer at CresCom Bank and Chief Executive Officer at Community FirstBank. Previously, Gilfedder was a President and Chief Executive Officer at McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union. Earlier in his career he worked with RBC Capital Markets as a Strategist. Gilfedder earned an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

 

26. Michael Miller

Previously, Venable was a Family Investment Officer at GenSpring Family Offices and before that a Group Vice President at SunTrust. Earlier in her career she worked with The First National Bank of Mount Dora as a Vice President. Venable earned an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Murray State University.

 

30. Larry Raffone

Larry Raffone began his professional career 34 years ago. Today, he is the President and CEO of Edelman Financial Engines. Edelman Financial Engines, America’s top independent financial planning and investment advisor, believes that all investors, not just the wealthy, deserve personalized, comprehensive financial planning and investment advice.

In 1988 Raffone served as an Executive Vice President at Fidelity Investments - Institutional Brokerage Group. From there, he went on to Financial Engines, before eventually rising to his most recent position prior to joining Edelman Financial Engines. Raffone graduated from Babson College - Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business with an MBA.

 

31. Ashish Masih
Encore Capital Group

Ashish Masih is the Chief Executive Officer, President and Board Member of Encore Capital Group. He first joined the company in 2009 as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development. Encore Capital Group is a global specialty finance company with operations and investments across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Through its subsidiaries around the globe, Encore purchases or services portfolios of receivables from major banks, credit unions and utility providers.

Previously, Masih was a Vice President at Capital One and before that an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company. Earlier in his career he worked with KPMG Consulting as a Manager. Masih earned an MBA from The Wharton School and an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

 

32. Dan Stolzer
Fulton Financial Corporation

Dan Stolzer is the Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Fulton Financial Corporation. Fulton Financial Corporation provides a wide range of financial products to their community and offers customers the technology to bank anytime, anywhere. They also offer a suite of products, services and solutions through their subsidiary banks.

In 1992 Stolzer served as a Senior Vice President and Assistant Secretary at KeyCorp. From there, he went on to PNC Financial Services, his most recent position prior to joining Fulton Financial Corporation. Stolzer graduated from Georgetown University Law Center with a masters degree, from Western New England College with a JD in Law, and from Bucknell University with an undergraduate degree in Economics.

 

33. Anthony Marino
Fiserv

Anthony Marino began his professional career 30 years ago. Today, he is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Fiserv. Fiserv is a leading global technology provider serving the financial services industry, driving innovation in payments, processing services, risk and compliance, customer and channel management, and business insights and optimization.

In 1991 Marino served as a Director of Human Resources at PepsiCo. From there, he went on to Honeywell, before eventually rising to Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer at Guardian Life, his most recent position prior to joining Fiserv. Marino graduated from Ohio University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

34. Rick Saldivar
OCC

Rick Saldivar is the Owner of OCC. OCC is the world's largest equity derivatives clearing organization. Founded in 1973, OCC operates under the jurisdiction of both the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a registered clearing agency and the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission as a Derivatives Clearing Organization. OCC now provides central counterparty clearing and settlement services to 20 exchanges and trading platforms for options, financial futures, security futures, and securities lending transactions.

Saldivar graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with an undergraduate degree.

 

35. Damian Ornani

Damian Ornani is the Chief Executive Officer of Fisher Investments. Fisher Investments is an independent, fee-only investment adviser. For more than 40 years they have been helping clients reach their financial goals by providing a tailored approach to investment management. Ornani has 24 years in the financial services industry.

Ornani joined Fisher Investments in 1997 and served in various roles including Client Account Associate, Investment Counselor, Senior Vice President of Sales and President of Private Client Acquisition and Service. Ornani graduated from the University of California-Santa Barbara with an undergraduate degree in Business Economics.

 

36. Dava Ritchea

Dava Ritchea is the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Managing Director of Sculptor Capital Management. Carol Juel began her professional career over 26 years ago. Today, she is the Executive Vice President of Synchrony Financial. Synchrony is one of the largest issuers of store credit cards in the United States. They help consumers pay over time for important expenses, issue co-branded cards for small- and medium-sized business credit products, as well as offer consumer savings products through Synchrony Bank.

Juel first got her start in 1995 as a Senior Manager at Accenture. From there, she went on to GE Capital, before eventually joining Synchrony Financial. Juel graduated from College of the Holy Cross.

 

38. Robert Johnson
BB&T Corporation

Robert Johnson is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Corporate Governance Officer of BB&T Corporation. He first joined the company in 2005. BB&T is a community bank that finances early and later stage venture investments.
Previously, Johnson was an Associate at Squire, Sanders and Dempsey. Johnson earned a graduate degree from Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Miami University.

 

39. Margaret Keane
Synchrony

Margaret Keane began her professional career 41 years ago. Today, she is the Executive Chair Member on the Board of Directors of Synchrony. She first joined the company in 2011 as Chief Executive Officer. Synchrony is one of the largest issuers of store credit cards in the United States.

Keane first got her start in 1980 in Retail Bank Operations for Citibank. She held several positions over the years before eventually rising to Chief Executive Officer at GE Capital, her most recent position prior to joining Synchrony. Keane graduated from Saint John's University with an MBA and with an undergraduate degree in Government and Politics.

 

40. Ganesh Krishnan
PNC Financial Services

Ganesh Krishnan is the Executive Vice President and Enterprise Chief Information Officer of PNC. He first joined the bank in 2008 as a Vice President and Systems Director. PNC is an American bank holding company and financial services corporation based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The bank offers a wide range of personal banking services including checking and savings accounts, credit cards, mortgage loans, auto loans and much more. They continue to be one of the largest banks in the United States by assets.

Previously, Krishnan was the Vice President of Engineering at TrueBaseline Corp and before that a Technology Director at ASEEdge, Inc. Earlier in his career he worked with National Stock Exchange of India as a Technical Lead. Krishnan earned a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Electronics Engineering from KIT's College of Engineering.

 

41. Linda Vickers
AIG Retirement Services

Linda Vickers is the Vice President and Transformation Journey Owner of AIG Retirement Services. AIG Retirement Services is the leading retirement plan provider for healthcare, government, higher education, K-12 schools and school districts, and other not-for-profit institutions. Vickers has 21 years in the financial services industry. She began her career in 2000.

Before joining AIG Retirement Services, Vickers was a Vice President for Digital Rep Solutions at Charles Schwab, and before that a Vice President of Individual Client Experience at TIAA-CREF.
