Olugbenga Agboola of Flutterwave is dedicated to connecting the entire continent of Africa with the global economy by building a payment infrastructure for businesses and banks who want to provide a more seamless and secure payment experience for their customers. Peter Dunn of Happy Money leads a team of financial advisors that are solely focused on helping individual borrowers become savers by enabling them to pay off credit cards. Meanwhile, Kim Luu-Tu serves the community by leading Generations Wealth Management with the goal of preparing individuals for a solid and secure financial future through retirement income planning, investments, insurances and more.

1. Tim Spence
Fifth Third Bank

Tim Spence is the President of Fifth Third Bank. He first joined the company in 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, Fifth Third Bank specializes in small business, retail banking, investments, and mortgages. They are one of the largest consumer banks in the Midwestern United States and operate in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina.

Previously, Spence was a Partner at Oliver Wyman. For many years he worked in finance and strategy with start-up AdTech companies in the growth stage. Spence earned an undergraduate degree from Colgate University.

 

4. Dan Rollins
BancorpSouth

Dan Rollins began his professional career 43 years ago. Today, he is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of BancorpSouth. BancorpSouth engages in conducting general commercial banking, trust, and insurance businesses through offices in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, and Illinois.

In 1973 Rollins served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Southwest U.S., his most recent position prior to joining BancorpSouth. Rollins graduated from the University of Texas with an undergraduate degree in Finance.

 

6. Kim Luu-Tu
Generations Wealth Management

Kim Luu-Tu is a Private Wealth Advisor and Chief Executive Officer of Generations Wealth Management, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. The diverse team of advisors at Generations Wealth Management focuses on comprehensive advice, where Luu-Tu leads and works alongside her team to develop solutions for clients' needs and goals. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to retirement income and planning strategies, investments and insurance planning.

Luu-Tu’s dedication to her profession has earned her national recognition across several renowned publications such as, Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors, 2017 – 2020 and Forbes, Best-in-State Wealth Advisors, 2018-2021, 2004-2016 and more. She is a Certified Financial Planner Professional and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, both earned through CFP Board. Luu-Tu received her degree in finance from George Mason University before starting her own financial planning practice in 1997.

 

10. Marty Flanagan
Invesco Ltd.

Marty Flanagan began his professional career 35 years ago. Today, he is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Invesco Ltd. Invesco is an independent global investment management firm dedicated to delivering an investment experience that helps people get more out of life.

In 1986 Flanagan served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and member of the board of directors at Templeton, Galbraith & Hansberger, Ltd. He eventually rose to Co-President and Co-Chief Executive Officer at Franklin Resources, Inc., his most recent position prior to joining Invesco. Flanagan graduated from Southern Methodist University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

15. Steven Brod
Crystal Capital Partners

Steven Brod is the Chief Executive Officer of Crystal Capital Partners. He first joined the company in 1999. Crystal Capital Partners is exclusively focused on alternative investments and has revolutionized customized hedge fund investing by delivering comprehensive investment solutions to all advisers, consultants, financial institutions and eligible investors. They provide their clients with access to CrystalToolsTM, a full suite of web-based quantitative analytics, qualitative research and operational due diligence.

Brod earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.

 

16. Heath Campbell
Truist

Heath Campbell is the President for the Greater Charlotte Metrolina Region of Truist. He first joined the company in 2019 and leads the Community Bank for the region. Truist, formed when BB&T and SunTrust joined, works to inspire and build better lives and communities. With their combined resources, collective passion, and commitment to innovation, they are creating a better financial experience to help people and businesses achieve more.

Previously, Campbell was a President of the Georgia Region at BB&T. Earlier in his career he worked with Wells Fargo as a Business Banking Specialist. Campbell earned an MBA from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.

 

21. Hunt Worth
Oppenheimer & Co.

Hunt Worth is the President of Oppenheimer & Co. He first joined the company in 2007 as a Senior Vice President before moving on to Chief Trust Officer and Chief Operating Officer. Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. is a leading national investment boutique with over a century of tradition. They are proud of its reputation as a firm that helps individuals, families, corporate executives, foundations and endowments, charities, pension plans, businesses, and institutions.

Prior to joining Oppenheimer & Co., Worth was the Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor for Wachovia Trust Group and before that was a Vice President and Senior Trust Advisor for PNC Bank. Worth spent time as an Attorney for Hill, Ullman & Erwin LLP early on in his career. Worth graduated from Tufts University with a bachelors degree, from Fordham University with an MBA and from Pace University with a JD.

24. Kristina Staples

Kristina Staples is the Managing Director of ACA Group, the leading governance, risk, and compliance advisor in financial services. They partner with their clients to help them mitigate the regulatory, operational, and reputational risks inherent in their business functions. Staples has 32 years of experience in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1989.

Before joining ACA Group, Staples was a Global Chief Compliance Officer at J.E. Robert Companies and before that a Senior Principal Consultant at ACA Compliance Group. Earlier in her career he worked with Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant. Staples graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science with an LLM in Corporate Finance and Banking, from Gonzaga University School of Law with a JD in Tax Law, and from the University of Washington with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

27. John Carson
Raymond James

John Carson is the President of Raymond James Financial. Raymond James Financial is a Florida-based diversified holding company providing financial services to individuals, corporations and municipalities through its subsidiary companies, engaged primarily in investment and financial planning, in addition to capital markets and asset management. Carson has 27 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1994.

Before joining Raymond James Financial, Carson was a Chief Executive Officer at Morgan Keegan. Carson graduated from the Harvard Business School with an MBA and from Dartmouth College with an undergraduate degree.

 

33. Anthony Marino
Fiserv

Anthony Marino began his professional career 30 years ago. Today, he is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Fiserv. Fiserv is a leading global technology provider serving the financial services industry, driving innovation in payments, processing services, risk and compliance, customer and channel management, and business insights and optimization.

In 1991 Marino served as a Director of Human Resources at PepsiCo. From there, he went on to Honeywell, before eventually rising to Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer at Guardian Life, his most recent position prior to joining Fiserv. Marino graduated from Ohio University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

42. Brent Turner
Liberty Tax

Brent Turner began his professional career 27 years ago. Today, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Tax. Founded in 1997, Liberty is one of the largest tax preparation service providers in the United States. Since its inception, they have provided friendly, professional tax services to nearly every community in the country.

Previously, Turner has served as Founder and CEO of Motus Advisors. Prior to founding Motus Advisors, Turner served as Executive Vice President, Head of Consumer Lending and Tax for MetaBank. Earlier in his career he served as Founder and CEO of Specialty Consumer Services LP, substantially all of the assets of which were acquired by MetaBank and its holding company, Meta Financial Group, Inc., in November 2016. He also served as President of eCommerce for EZCORP. Turner graduated from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business with an MBA and from West Texas A&M University with an undergraduate degree in Finance.

 

46. Olugbenga Agboola
Flutterwave

Olugbenga Agboola is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Flutterwave. He founded the company in 2016. Flutterwave has grown to become one of the fastest growing payments companies in the world. They are on a mission to build a payment infrastructure to connect Africa to the global economy and do this by building technology, tools, and infrastructure for businesses and banks who want to provide a more seamless and secure payment experience for their customers.

Previously, Agboola was a Senior Entrepreneur in Residence at the Africa Fintech Foundry and before that a Head of Digital Factory & Innovation at Access Bank Plc. Earlier in his career he worked with PayPal as an Application Engineer and with Stanbic Bank as a Technology Product Developer. Agboola earned an MSC from EC-Council University and participated in the Strategic Marketing Program with Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.

 

48. Eric Hart
Pulte Mortgage

Eric Hart is the President of Pulte Mortgage. Pulte Mortgage solely focuses on the financing of new construction homes for customers of Pulte Homes, Centex, Del Webb, DiVosta, and John Wieland Homes brands. Founded in 1972, Pulte Mortgage has financed more than 700,000 homes from coast-to-coast while offering borrowers more than 200 different home loan solutions.

Hart first got his start with Market Leader where he served as a Financial Analyst and Product Manager before moving to become the Chief Deputy for the Bexar County Clerk. He also previously served as a Managing Director with JPMorgan Chase, his most recent role prior to joining Pulte Mortgage. Hart graduated from Harvard University with an MBA.

 

52. Peter Beckman
UniTrust Financial Group

Peter Beckman is the Chief Executive Officer of UniTrust Financial Group. UniTrust Financial Group is designed specifically to serve middle income America. They sell life insurance, term life insurance, final expense insurance, and a range of other products such as annuities, mortgage protection and asset protection. Beckman has 14 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 2007.

Before joining UniTrust Financial Group, Beckman was an Agency Owner at Symmetry Financial Group and before that a President and Chief Executive Officer at Alliance Financial Group. Earlier in his career he worked with Bankers Life as a Unit Field Trainer. Beckman graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a graduate degree and from The University of Cincinnati with an undergraduate degree.

53. Randy Roper
MidFirst Bank

Randy Roper is the First Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of MidFirst Bank. He first joined the bank in 2005. MidFirst Bank ranks as one of the largest privately owned banks in the United States and its combination of size and private ownership provides their customers with a special brand of banking. They offer a full range of personal, commercial, trust, private banking and mortgage banking products and services.

Previously, Roper was a Market President at Local Oklahoma Bank and before that a Market President at Bank of America. Roper earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University and an undergraduate degree in Business from the University of Oklahoma.

 

55. Raj Agrawal
Western Union

Raj Agrawal is the Chief Financial Officer of Western Union. He first joined the company in 2006 as Senior Vice President Treasurer. Western Union helps people and businesses move money to help grow economies and realize a better world. They continue to innovate, developing new ways to send money through digital, mobile, and retail channels, with an array of convenient pay-out options to meet business and consumer needs.

Previously, Agrawal was a Vice President Treasurer and IR at Deluxe Corporation and before that an Assistant Treasurer at General Mills. Earlier in his career he worked with General Motors as a Manufacturing Engineer. Agrawal earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from GMI Engineering and Management School.

 

62. Michelle Seitz
Russell Investments

Michelle Seitz is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Russell Investments. She first joined the company in 2017. Russell Investments is a global investment manager specializing in multi-asset solutions, dedicated to helping investors reach their long-term goals. They scour the globe to deliver the best investment strategies, managers and asset classes to its clients around the world.

Previously, Seitz was a Chief Executive of WB Investment Management and Chairman and President of WB Funds at William Blair. Earlier in her career she worked with Concord Investment Company as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Seitz earned an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.

 

68. Brad Moyer
Integrity Title Services

Brad Moyer is the Owner of Integrity Title Services. At Integrity Title Services, their mission is to be the industry's leading title company by providing superior customer service. Their goal is to make sure their client’s real estate closing is as stress free and smooth as possible.

Moyer graduated from Miami University with an undergraduate degree.

 

72. Dave Gilbert
National Funding

Dave Gilbert is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of National Funding. He first founded the company in 1999. National Funding serves the small business community. Since inception, they have provided more than $3 billion in funding to over 50,000 customers to support their working capital and equipment financing needs.

Gilbert earned an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies from USC Marshall School of Business.

 

75. Barry Robinson
F.N.B. Corporation

Barry Robinson began his professional career 30 years ago. Today, he is the Chief Consumer Banking Officer of F.N.B. Corporation. F.N.B., headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, is a diversified financial services company operating in seven states and the District of Columbia. They provide a full range of commercial banking, consumer banking, wealth management and insurance solutions.

In 2005 Robinson served as an Executive Vice President and Market Executive at National City Private Client Group, before eventually rising to Executive Vice President of Consumer Banking at F.N.B. Corporation, his most recent position prior to his current role. Robinson graduated from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business with an MBA and from Penn State University with an undergraduate degree in Finance.

 

80. Amy Porter
AffiniPay

Amy Porter is the Founder of AffiniPay. She currently serves as an Executive Chairman after nearly 15 years of serving as Chief Executive Officer. AffiniPay is a FinTech company that supports online credit card transactions for professional trade associations. Their industry-specific online tools for the legal, accounting, and association professionals are helping drive the success of firms and organizations by making it possible to accept payments quickly and securely.

Porter first got her start in 1997 as a Co-Founder and President of National Bankcard Systems. She is also the Founder of LawPay and Skylark Private Equity Partners. In addition to her current roles, she serves on the board for Paytronix Systems. Porter graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.

Previously, L’Esperance was a Managing Director at Veronis Suhler Stevenson and before that, the Head of Media Investment Banking at Warburg Dillon Read. Earlier in his career he worked with Lehman Brothers as a Vice President of Media Investment Banking. L’Esperance earned an MBA from the Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.

 

89. Andy Platt

Andy Platt is the Managing Director of Northwestern Mutual. He first joined the company in 2009 as a Financial Advisor. Northwestern Mutual delivers financial security to more than 4.5 million people who rely on them for disability income and long-term care insurance, annuities, brokerage and advisory services, trust services, and discretionary portfolio management solutions. The company holds more than $125 billion of client assets as a part of its wealth management company and investment services.

Prior to his current role, Platt spent time working in accounting for Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. He currently serves as a Member on the Board of Trustees for Wright State University. Platt earned an undergraduate degree in Business and Finance from Wright State University.

 

92. Richard Formoe
Paydit

Richard Formoe is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Paydit. Paydit is a next generation online platform for collection companies, lenders, and banks that intelligently automates the entire debt resolution process, from payment plan negotiation to status tracking and reporting, enabling cost-efficient and regulatory-compliant alternatives to the traditional debt resolution process.

Formoe first got his start in 2012 as a Senior District Manager at Preferred Lease. From there, he went on to Acima Credit, before eventually rising to Chief Commercial Officer at QuickFee, his most recent position prior to founding Paydit. Formoe graduated from Cornell University - Johnson Graduate School of Management with a graduate degree and from Harvard University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

 

97. Jeff Winner
Happy Money

Jeff Winner is the Chief Executive Officer of Happy Money. Happy Money is on a mission to help people leave the world of sad money by paying off their credit cards. Winner has 28 years in the financial services industry. He began his career in 1993.

Before joining Happy Money, Winner was a Chief Technology Officer for Consumer Business at Goldman Sachs and before that a Head of Engineering at Stripe. Earlier in his career he founded Collabra Software where he held the role of Software Architect. Winner graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and a masters in Computer Science.
